Job Description

SUMMARY: Perform various functions within the Client Services Department. Functions include but are not limited to responding to incoming client calls of various types, assisting with the cross selling of all deposit and electronic services, establishing and maintaining client profiles on various systems, maintaining client documentation and producing various reports.     
                   


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  

Provide support for client requests regarding account information, transactions, and/or problem resolution with a strict adherence to the Bank’s policies and procedures for identification and security.

  

Responds to general questions relating to financial institution’s products and services.

  

Add and maintain client configuration for all electronic services as instructed by clients and Bank Officers within appropriate online system and/or core banking system.

  

Reviews electronic services agreements and documentation provided by clients and/or Bank Officers for accuracy and completeness.

  

Provides debit card maintenance assistance including the processing of cancel or stolen cards, disputes and pin re-issues.

  

Maintain client files with regards to electronic services.

  

Conduct training for clients on all electronic services.

  

Produce monthly production and service reports.

  

Answer, screen and route incoming telephone calls to specific individuals or departments within the Bank in a prompt and courteous manner.

  

Performs other related duties as necessary.

                   

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Minimum one year of previous customer service experience in a retail branch or banking call center environment. Excellent telephone etiquette skills. Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients by phone or in person in a dynamic work environment. Working knowledge of BSA compliance, KYC and CIP requirements.  Multi-task oriented with strong organizational skills. Strong knowledge and understanding of standard retail bank products, policies and procedures. Experience using banking system platforms to perform account maintenance and research. Computer proficient in Outlook, MS Word and Excel. Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
